About Chaitanya Life Academy

Education and exemplary association are the keys to spiritual growth. Spiritual life is a reality that we must all realize. It is our humble offering to provide assistance to you on this journey. As a couple [Nrsimhananda dasa and Madri dasi] we have gone through financial crisis, health crisis, relationship crisis,  near death crisis to name a few, but we have never given up the process, practice and teachings of Lord Chaitanya as presented to us by Srila Prabhupada. In fact, we have become stronger, more committed and inspired through these trials and tribulations. All credit goes to the teachings of Lord Chaitanya and the mercy of Srila Prabhupada. Chaitanya Life Academy is for those who want to take their spiritual life seriously through education and practice.

Course Facilitators

Nrsimhanada dasa is the founder of Chaitanya Life Academy and is a grand disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He has been seriously practising the science and culture of the Hare Krishna movement since 1985. He studied the philosophy in India over 6 years from 1997, staying there for three-month periods. Since then he has been practicing and teaching this science.

Nrsimhananda dasa embraced full time monastic life for over 3 decades performing various services. He has served for many years as Temple President in ISKCON in Hillbrow, Lenasia and Midrand. He was instrumental in establishing ISKCON in Lenasia and opened the current temple there as well as the current temple in Midrand. He has conducted structured courses over the years whereby many individuals have become inspired in their devotional service. Due to his deep appreciation for the teachings of Srila Prabhupada he organized many Maha Harinamas with mass distribution of Srila Prabhupada’s books and prasadam.

Nrsimhananda dasa has thus far conducted structured courses based on various parts of the Vedas in different provinces of South Africa, in Nairobi, Hong Kong, Mauritius and various parts of India including Mayapur and Vrindavan (VIHE). He has often appeared on numerous television and radio shows to present the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness.

As a graduate from the University of Witwatersrand he has an honours degree in Bsc Computer Science. He is currently employed with an ICT company and it dedicated to education and training through Chaitanya Life Academy together with his good wife Madri dasi.

Madri dasi is a grand disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. She has been seriously practising the science and culture of the Hare Krishna movement since 1983. For six years she spent three-month periods together with her husband, Nrsimhananda dasa in India engaged in scriptural studies. She has taught Bhakti Sastri for many years as a lecturer at Bhaktivedanta College of Education and Culture – BCEC. Madri dasi was also instrumental in developing a children’s syllabus for Bhaktivedanta College of Education. She has presented Krishna consciousness on television many times. Her expertise in presenting the philosophy of Krishna consciousness was also seen in her preaching endeavours in maximum security prisons whereby a consistent group of 160 prisoners became steadfast followers. Madri dasi became convinced overnight as a serious practitioner of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings after reading “Chant And Be Happy” in 1983. Thereafter she embraced the monastic life serving in various capacities as a full-time practitioner. She has spent many years distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books on the street daily and distributing sets of Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrta to libraries and individual homes for many years. She loves Deity services, is expert at cultivating new souls and also enjoys inspiring devotees through Krishna conscious lectures. She is an alternate health practitioner and is certified in Nutritional therapy and Kinesiology helping her clients via full body non-linear scanning.​
